E. & J. Gallo is regarded as one of the world’s finest wineries. Since its establishment in 1933 by the brothers, Ernest & Julio Gallo, their passion for winemaking has been passed on from one generation to the next. They founded the family winery with a philosophy they called “being true to the grape”. The philosophy focuses on showcasing the grape’s true varietal character and is best achieved using the finest quality grapes. This requires dedication to, and preservation of the vineyard and its environment.Today a team of winemakers, including Julio’s granddaughter, Gina Gallo, ensures continued adherence to this philosophy.
