Overview

Marqués de Riscal has always been a pioneer. In 1858 it became the first winery in Rioja using the Bordeaux system. In 1972, the company promoted the D.O. Rueda where the white wines are made. It was also the first winery to create a wine of a new age: Barón de Chirel. Marqués de Riscal products are sold to almost 80 countries and its wines have won some of the most distinguished international awards and media recognition. The products from Rioja are: Reserva, Gran Reserva 150th Anniversary, Barón de Chirel, Frank Gehry Selection (Limited Edition) and the Rosado. From Rueda, Marqués de Riscal produces the Rueda Verdejo, Sauvignon, Limousin and Riscal 1860.
